My family chose this practice over 2 decades ago; and we believe it is the best decision we could have made for great long-term dental care. I was a committed and satisfied patient, when the previous dentist managed the practice. However, I am thrilled with the service and attention I have received from Dr. Alex Millan, who took over the practice a few years ago.
Dr. Millan and his staff are wonderful and professional experts. The office is clean and inviting and even has toys for kids to play. My 3yo daughter and I enjoy our visits. You know the place is great when the staff brings their own family members there for treatment. I even converted my husband to a patient because we liked it so much. Easy to find, great downtown location and lots of friendly appointment reminders made for a smooth process.
You can expect the same amount of customer service as a fast food place. Don't call an hour before close on Friday since everyone decided to pack it up early and call it a weekend. If a business has specified hours of operations, then they should be open when they say they are otherwise just lack of care for you customers/patients. Highly disappointed with my experience so far at the Modern Dentisry of Hatboro.
Meagan, Dr. Millan’s assistant, has been with the practice for a decade and provides excellent dental procedure support. Paula has been with the practice for over a decade and is simply extraordinary, when it comes to dental hygiene maintenance and customer dental care education. Paula has taught my family more about dental care than any previous dental hygienist. Thanks to Paula’s instruction, I believe that my family will avoid the pitfalls of gum disease and tooth loss, so we won’t need dentures. Sandy and Janene have each been with the practice for nearly 30 years, staying on top of insurance issues and making patients feel like family!
Dr. Millan and staff do a fabulous job! They make visiting the dentist an enjoyable experience. Love the office and especially the fish tank!

Modern Dentistry of Hatboro is a dental practice with premier professionals who, as a team, take pride in giving patients the very best service possible. Dr. Millan takes extreme care to ensure that patients are closely examined for ANY and ALL issues that can negatively impact his patients’ dental health. When I damaged my front teeth in a fall last January, I called Dr. Millan and he took me immediately - split lip and missing tooth and all! Then, he went to great lengths to ensure that my new crowns were perfect and that I was satisfied with the color and shape of the crowns. It was difficult to match the color to my teeth, so Dr. Millan set up an appointment for me to visit the lab that creates the crowns to custom color match the crowns. Considering applying crowns is a one and done procedure, this was a wonderful display of how much he cares about me, as a patient, to go that extra mile!
